4ZZZ FM are Queensland’s longest running FM radio station. As a not-for-profit community broadcaster, they began as the official student radio at the University of Queensland in 1975. 4ZZZ has two main revenue streams: sponsorship and subscriptions. All of the money 4ZZZ makes goes directly back into the licences and equipment that keeps the station on air, supporting the community through events and paying a handful of staff.
